Allstar Mounds 6"

Formerly know as the Allstar #2 Mound, the Allstar Mounds 6" pitching mound was designed for practice and bullpen warm up but can be used for games for pitchers through age 10. This mound has a thin edge all around, so it lays almost even with the field and won’t move around while the pitcher is going through his motion. Change your softball fields into baseball fields in minutes, no maintenance is required by the park staff while tournaments are taking place.
 
The Allstar Mounds 6" is 75” long x 53” wide x 6” high where the pitcher stands in front of the pitching rubber and it weighs approximately 95 lbs. The distance between the pitching rubber and the front of the mound is 50” so most 10-year-old pitcher’s front foot should land on the mound and not in the dirt. This is a great pitching mound to get young kids trained for pitching on a mound.
 
This pitching mound comes with a replaceable 18" x 4" pitching rubber that is secured by three bolts. We use the highest quality sports turf we can find, 60 ounce knitted nylon Astroturf that comes in three colors - Clay, Green, or Tan.
 
No wood or styrofoam used in this product, our mounds are all fiberglass and composite materials that will stand strong over time. No special maintenance or storage requirements. You can store these in any position, including standing up on their edge, or you can leave them outside year around. These mounds are completely weather resistant.
 
Allstar Mounds have a full 5-year warranty on the fiberglass shell, this does not cover the natural wearing of the turf over time.
